Juan A. Solis

Juan A. Solis has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Juan A. recently worked as an Assistant Controller at Conventus-Flower Orthopedics, starting in May 2021. Before that, they were an Accounting Manager at the same company from July 2020 to May 2021.

Prior to their role at Conventus-Flower Orthopedics, Juan held various positions at ICON plc, a leading global provider of drug development solutions. Juan A. served as a Finance Manager from April 2014 to July 2020, where they were responsible for managing all finance, accounting, and tax compliance for the Latin American region. Before that, they were an Accounting Supervisor from April 2012 to March 2014, overseeing financial, accounting, and tax compliance for six countries in the region.

Juan also worked as a Senior Accountant for Latin America and Canada at ICON plc from November 2010 to March 2012. In this role, they were accountable for financial reporting and tax compliance for the Canadian branch and assisted with financial reporting and tax compliance for six countries in Latin America.

Before joining ICON plc, Juan had experience working at H. Ayuntamiento de Benito Juarez - Cancun as a Human Resources Director from May 2008 to May 2010. Juan A. managed payroll processes for 6,000 City Hall employees and supervised a team of human resource professionals.

Juan's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Accountant at F.A. Davis Company from October 2000 to May 2008. Juan A. directed all accounting functions and oversaw financial reporting and tax filings for the company. Juan A. also worked at HSBC as an Account Executive from January 1995 to August 2000, where they served as a liaison between the bank and corporate hotel chain executives.

Additionally, Juan worked as an Accounting Instructor at CANACO Servytur Merida from January 1991 to January 1994.

Juan A. Solis has attended the Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Administration. Juan A. has also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Secretaría de Educación Pública.
