Tim Austin

Tim Austin is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and administration. Currently serving at Dakar Academy Schools since 2009, Tim holds the positions of Educator and Curriculum Coordinator, focusing on curriculum coordination, staff development, and administrative roles. Prior experience includes serving as a middle school and high school principal and teaching various subjects including English, Psychology, Sociology, African History, Economics, woodworking, and photography. Previous roles include English Teacher at Greenway Public Schools and Connor Jasper Middle School, where Tim also coached basketball. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Cairn University and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education, as well as a Bachelor of General Studies, both from St. Cloud State University. Additionally, Tim is pursuing a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Bemidji State University.
