Gemma Lockhart

Gemma Lockhart has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gemma currently holds the position of Head of People at Converge, a construction tech company focusing on enhancing safety and efficiency in the construction industry. Prior to this, Gemma served as the Head of People at The Body Coach, where they contributed to the development of the organization's workforce from November 2021 to May 2023. In 2020, they worked as a People Consultant at Acin, a fintech company revolutionizing non-financial risk management. Gemma also served as a People & Talent Consultant at Element from January 2020 to November 2021. Gemma founded GL Talent Consulting Ltd and operated as its Founder from January 2017 to November 2021. Gemma has also worked as a People Consultant at Triptease, a SaaS business focused on improving the travel booking process. Before that, they gained experience as a Talent Consultant at Founders Pledge and Panaseer. Gemma began their career as a Global Head of Recruitment at Essence, a global digital agency. Gemma also contributed as an Employability Advisor at Kingston University. Gemma's roles have provided their with extensive expertise in people management, talent acquisition, and HR, contributing to their success in various organizations.

Gemma Lockhart completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) in Human Resources Development from London South Bank University, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honors in Drama & History from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they were enrolled from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their degrees, Gemma Lockhart holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid Champion from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, which they obtained in October 2019. Gemma is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and has a Certificate in HR Practice, which they obtained from CIPD in November 2014.
