Aakif Merchant

Aakif Merchant has a comprehensive background in finance and advisory roles, with experience in various organizations such as Convergence Blended Finance, Africa's Green Economy Summit, and the Ministry of Finance in Ethiopia. Aakif has also worked as a lecturer and advisory board member at the Initiative for Blended Finance at the University of Zurich and served as a Senior Advisor at UNDP. With a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and a BA in Economics & Political Science from The George Washington University, Aakif's expertise spans across different sectors and regions.
