Anish Mankal

Anish Mankal is a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS) with experience from May 2023 to August 2024 and previously from May to August 2023. Prior to AWS, Anish served as a Software Engineer Intern at Principal Financial Group from May to August 2022 and worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin in June 2020. During the research experience, Anish developed a Docker image for SplitFS, automated container setup through shell scripts, created a lightweight Ubuntu virtual machine for Docker, and executed microbenchmark tests that demonstrated SplitFS's superior performance over ext4-DAX. Anish is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, having attended from 2021 to 2024, and graduated from Liberty High School in 2021.
