Andy Brubaker

Project Director at Convergent Nonprofit Solutions

Andy was first overtaken by a tremendous passion to serve others early in his professional career when he joined the Boy Scouts of America. While serving the BSA, he excelled at fundraising with volunteers which led to an 11 percent overall increase in annual gifts. He then transitioned to LaGrange College serving on a fundraising team that completed a $64 million capital campaign over goal and ahead of schedule.

Andy then moved to Andrew College where he was an integral part of the school’s $16 million capital campaign. The school was notably Georgia’s only remaining two-year liberal arts college and was located in one of the 50 most impoverished counties in the United States. Overcoming obstacles and focused on growth, Andy built a team that raised in excess of $2 million in annual gifts and launched a

$7.5 million comprehensive campaign.

A graduate of the Georgia Academy of Economic Development and former Executive Director for the American Red Cross of Southwest Georgia, Andy’s nonprofit leadership and development experience is both deep and wide. His career has also included fundraising leadership roles at two independent K-12 schools and the Hogansville Downtown Development Authority in Georgia. He thrives on building teams of staff, volunteers, and donors focused on making an impact on their communities and bringing successful capital campaigns to fruition through his passion and fundraising expertise.
