Aschale S. has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as an Assistant Professor at Bahir Dar University. In 2015, they were an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America. From 2017 to 2022, they served as an Assistant Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at ConverseNow.AI.

Aschale S. is currently enrolled in a Software Engineering program at Hack Reactor, which began in 2020 and is expected to end in 2021. Prior to this, Aschale S. completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Wageningen University & Research in 2012. In 2010, Aschale S. obtained a Certificate from the United Nations University Summer School on Environment and Human Security.
