Mahalingam Shanmugam

Mahalingam Shanmugam started working at Cognizant in 2005 as a Developer, where they analyzed and designed databases and universes for reporting. Mahalingam provided support for monitoring ETL jobs and BI reports and supervised offshore teams. Mahalingam then became a DWBI Lead, leading development for financial planning solutions and designing data models for reporting. After that, they served as a Data Architect, where they developed architecture roadmaps and provided implementation support for various projects. Lastly, they worked as an Associate Director, where they demonstrated the benefits of next-generation BI strategies and helped clients adopt new technologies. In 2018, they joined ConverSight.ai as the Director, responsible for delivering conversational insights and actions through natural language conversation.

Mahalingam Shanmugam completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. Mahalingam attended this institution from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as AWS Business Professional Online from AWS Elemental, a subsidiary of Amazon Web Services, in September 2017. In September 2016, they also completed a certification course on Practical Data Analytics with the Microsoft Cortana Intelligence Suite from Microsoft. Furthermore, in December 2017, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance.
