Kyle Miers

Kyle Miers has extensive work experience in the field of communications, particularly focused on deaf and disabled communities. Kyle currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Global Business Development at Convo Communications since February 2023. Prior to this, from April 2021 to February 2023, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Convo Communications Australia. Before joining Convo Communications, Kyle held the position of Chief Executive at Deaf Australia Inc from April 2014 to April 2021. Kyle also served as a member of the National Advisory Council at the National Relay Service from October 2013 to June 2017 and as a member of the Victorian Disability Advisory Council (VDAC) at the Department of Human Services from July 2013 to June 2016. Kyle'swork experience also includes a role as Manager, Community Relations at Deaf Children Australia from March 2007 to March 2014. Kyle has served as a Board of Director at the Australian Consumer Communication Actions Network from 2008 to 2012 and as a Board of Director (retired, life member) at Deaf Australia from 2002 to 2010. Additionally, they worked as Manager, Outreach Program at Australian Communication Exchange from 2004 to 2006 and as a Discovery Program Leader at Gallaudet University from 1989 to 1994.

Kyle Miers attended Gallaudet University from 1989 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation: Leadership and Programming.
