Johnie Chan

Johnie Chan has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2014 as a Market Research Intern at Homebrew Management VC, where they conducted market research on mobile phone and application usage. They then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Greenleaf Elementary School, providing support to the Principal and faculty members.

From 2015 to 2016, Johnie worked at NAMI California as a Program Coordinator, handling the planning and coordination of meetings, workshops, and team-bonding activities within the mental health community. They also acted as a Program Manager, recruiting board members and increasing member turnout and retention rates.

In 2017, Johnie joined Launchpad Project Management, initially as a Project Management Intern and later promoted to Recruiter | Project Manager. They successfully executed research projects and achieved recognition for their performance on the community outreach team.

From 2018 to 2020, Johnie worked at Robert Half as a Recruiter, responsible for full-cycle recruiting for various business roles. They consistently ranked among the top recruiters in their region.

From 2020 to 2022, Johnie worked as a Career Coach at JourneyUp LLC, coaching clients on career goals, job search strategies, and networking. They also designed an online job search curriculum.

In 2021, Johnie joined Google as a Technical Recruiter via Artech Information Systems. They built and maintained a talent pool of senior/director-level software engineers, collaborating with stakeholders in different product areas.

Currently, Johnie is employed at Convoso as a Senior Technical Recruiter, starting in 2022.

Johnie Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In February 2018, they completed the "Mental Health First Aid" certification provided by the National Council for Behavioral Health. In July 2021, they obtained the "Talent Sourcing" certification from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in May 2022, they received certifications in "Diversity Recruiting" and "Technical Recruiting" from LinkedIn.
