John Rains

John Rains is the Owner and Partner at CONVOY, a rental house established to enhance the equipment rental process for gaffers and producers in Austin since February 2020. Additionally, John serves as a Producer and Supervisor at Backstory, a production service focused on commercials and branded content, since September 2017. Previously, John worked as a Media Specialist at Florida State University from August 2012 to May 2013, where responsibilities included creating video promotions and designing visual aids. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida State University, earned between 2012 and 2015, and attended Tallahassee State College from 2011 to 2012.
