Anthony Anani M.D., Mph

Anthony Anani MD MBA MPH serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Cook Children’s Hospital in Prosper, Texas, and as a Gastroenterologist within the Cook Children's Health Care System since April 2019. In addition to these roles, Anthony is an Executive Board Member at Cook Children's Physicians Network and previously held the position of Director of Clinical Services at Cook Children's Prosper Campus. Prior experience includes positions as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Texas Children's Hospital and as a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellow at Cleveland Clinic. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Strategy/Organization and Management, along with a Master of Public Health from Emory University, and a medical degree from the University of Ibadan. Early career experience includes medical officer roles at Massey Children's Hospital and Talent Specialist Hospital, as well as internships at Emory Healthcare and Voices for Georgia's Children.
