Katie Garza

Katie Garza, MS, currently serves as the Director of Operations at Cook County Health, where responsibilities include overseeing internal and external communications and developing a comprehensive staff engagement program. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager at Cook County Health, where efforts focused on increasing domestic spending and implementing new enrollment initiatives. Before this, Katie was a Communications & Transition Consultant at Family Health Network, managing the transition of members to other health plans. Earlier experience at the American Dental Hygienists' Association involved directing member services and supporting governance for numerous state and local organizations. Katie holds a Master of Science in Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Indiana University Bloomington.
