Krystal Vezzetti

Krystal Vezzetti, MSW, is currently serving as a Law Clerk in the Forensic Science Division at the Cook County Public Defender since September 2023, having previously interned in the Felony Trial Division earlier in 2023. Krystal's diverse experience includes roles such as Project Management Associate at AltaThera Pharmaceuticals, where project organization and hiring processes were primary responsibilities. As a Social Work Intern at Lawndale Christian Health Center, duties involved case management for court-involved youth, including GED tutoring and mental health linkages. Academic support was provided as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago, and earlier positions included clinical and project assistant roles in various organizations, as well as service as a Soldier in the Illinois Army National Guard. Krystal holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, and an undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from the same institution.
