Sarah Lukin

Chief Strategy Officer at Cook Inlet Region, Inc.

As Chief strategy officer, Sarah Lukin plays a key role in identifying long-and short-term business strategies for CIRI while ensuring the organization maintains strategy at the forefront of decision making and management of its resources.

Prior to joining CIRI in 2021, Lukin served as senior vice president and chief administration officer for NANA Regional Corporation where she provided strategic leadership in a range of functions for the company. Lukin brings nearly 20 years of experience working with businesses across the U.S. and Canada, including her previous roles as chief operating officer for Pt Capital and senior vice president of corporate affairs for Afognak Native Corporation.

Lukin is Alutiiq and hails from the village of Port Lions, a remote community on Kodiak Island. She is a shareholder of Koniag, Inc. and Afognak Native Corporation and an enrolled tribal member of the Native Village of Afognak and Native Village of Port Lions. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alaska and is a graduate of Alaska Pacific University’s Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program.
