Jo Savage

Jo Savage is a California and Utah based photographer and writer who specializes in commercial, outdoor adventure, travel and lifestyle content. Jo has been working in the field since 2016, when they founded Jo Savage Photography. From 2018-2021, they have worked with a variety of companies, including REI (as a photographer and freelance associate producer), TEN: The Enthusiast Network (as a content contributor and writer), Nikita Clothing (as a photographer), Cotopaxi (as a photographer), Trust and Travel (as a retreat photographer), Men's Journal Media Group (as a writer), COOLA (as a photographer) and ROXY (as a photographer). In 2019, they also worked with the Peninsula Longboard & Film Festival, creating marketing assets of the event and photographing surf from inside the ocean and the beach, as well as lifestyle and event imagery. In addition, their work uplifts womxn and BIPOC communities globally.

Jo Savage obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing, International Business Studies, and a Spanish minor from the University of North Texas in 2009. In 2012 and 2013, they attended the Utila Dive Centre and obtained a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification from PADI.
