Alex Boers

Alex Boers is an accomplished professional in the field of supply chain management, currently serving as Owner ESG and Medewerker Green Supply at Coolblue since May 2019. In this role, Alex focuses on various projects aimed at making Coolblue's supply chains more sustainable, emphasizing electric transport, alternative fuels, and emission compensation. Prior experience at Coolblue includes conducting research for a more sustainable ordering method during a master's internship, CO2 emission calculations for various transport modalities, and processing returned defective products as an RMA medewerker. Alex also completed an internship at Schijvens Confectiefabriek Hilvarenbeek B.V., where research was conducted on the clothing return process within the circular production framework. Prior to these roles, Alex worked at Claassen Logistics as a Losploegmedewerker, responsible for loading and unloading trucks. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Logistics Engineering, both from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
