Darius Shirzadi has a diverse range of work experience. Darius is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Project GOAL, Inc since 2002. Currently, they are also the President of My Soccer Advocate. Darius has worked at Cooley Group since 2003 and has held various roles, including Global Business Director and Global Business Manager, where they were responsible for cross-functional responsibilities and managing military and environmental businesses. Darius was also involved in product innovation and development projects. Darius is a Board Member and Co-Founder of Urban Soccer Collaborative from 2006 to 2012. Darius has also held positions such as Vice President at Bruno United, Director of Latino and Cape Verdean Community Relations at New England Revolution, and worked in marketing at Fuxito.com. Darius has a background in soccer as well, having worked as a General Manager/Assistant Coach for the Rhode Island Stingrays and as a Master at Camp Sloane.
Darius Shirzadi completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Spanish at Clark University from 1990 to 1994. In 1993, they also studied Spanish at Escuela Tandem for a short period. Prior to that, they attended Horace Greeley High School from 1986 to 1990. In terms of additional certifications, Darius obtained the NSCAA Youth Coaching License II and III from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in April 2011. In June 1999, they also attained the USSF "B" National Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation.
