Jeffrey Liu has extensive experience in software engineering and GPS technology. Jeffrey started their career as a Senior System Development Engineer at Interstate Electronics Corporation, where they developed a GPS ground station for aircraft precision landing. Jeffrey then worked at ARINC Incorporated as a Principal Software and Test Engineer, developing the ARINC Dominium ORBCOMM system and implementing interference testing for the Local Area Augmentation System (LAAS) Airport Pseudolite (APL).

Jeffrey then joined SiRF Technology, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of GPS receivers for wireless handsets, focusing on E911 and geolocation services. Jeffrey also improved receiver tracking performance at low signal levels.

Jeffrey later became a Principal Software Engineer at PHAROS GPS, Inc., where they developed in-vehicle GPS navigation and mapping products and integrated their software onto Qualcomm's MVPc platform.

At Sony Electronics, Inc., Jeffrey served as a Staff Software and Application Engineer, leading the development, integration, and testing of GPS receiver ICs used in various devices globally, including smartphones and automotive navigation systems. Jeffrey also worked on the IS-801/E911 GPS project.

Most recently, Jeffrey worked at Coolpad Americas as a Product Commercialization Manager. In this role, they were responsible for planning, deploying, and managing the testing efforts for various products, as well as coordinating activities and testers throughout each phase of project or program testing.

Jeffrey Liu has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geomatics Engineering, specifically in the field of GPS, from the University of Calgary. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Tongji University. The specific field of study for their degrees from Tongji University is not provided.
