Chris Ward

Chris was a founding partner of the firm in 1980 and has been a litigator for nearly all his 44 years of practice, focusing on the areas of insurance law, commercial litigation and family law.

Chris was managing partner of Cooper Grace Ward from 2005 to 2021. He defines the essence of our culture, with a clear focus on values, team engagement and corporate citizenship. In addition, Chris continues to play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice to some of Cooper Grace Ward’s largest clients.

In 2018, Chris was elected as the president of Advoc Asia and the chair of Advoc Global. Advoc brings together 93 law firms and benefits members and clients throughout the world. Chris will continue his role as the president of Advoc Asia and the global chair of Advoc into the future.
