Mark Patterson is a highly experienced engineer specializing in advanced engine analysis and development. Currently, as Principal Engineer at Cooper Machinery Services since March 2020, Mark leads finite element analysis and optimizes engine performance for engine/compressor units. Previous roles include Manager of New Product Development at Advanced Engine Technologies Corporation, where Mark focused on engine technologies for the natural gas pipeline industry, and Consulting Engineer positions at GE Oil & Gas and Baker Hughes, where Mark contributed to the implementation of emerging technologies and design methodologies. Mark has extensive experience in new product development from previous positions at Cameron, where Mark managed engine and compressor development and led teams to address complex technical challenges in emissions reduction. Mark's career began at Daimler-Benz as a Visiting Scientist after earning a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
