Jo-El Quinlan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the restaurant industry. Jo-El started their career as a Real Estate Developer at KFC in 1992 and then moved to Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, where they served as the National Real Estate Manager for TGI Friday's and Emerging Brands restaurants. In 1998, they joined Rare Hospitality Inc. as the VP of Development, responsible for real estate, construction, design, and facilities activities. Jo-El then returned to Carlson Restaurants Worldwide as the VP of Real Estate, leading all domestic real estate activities for TGI Friday's and Pick Up Stix. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as the VP of Real Estate at Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, managing market planning, site selection, lease negotiations, and property management for TGI Friday's and Pick Up Stix. Jo-El joined Darden in 2004 as the VP of Real Estate, responsible for establishing a national market penetration plan and managing investments cost levels, among other responsibilities. Jo-El later served as the SVP of Development for Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and LongHorn Steakhouse at Darden before joining Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants as the Senior Vice President of Development in 2015.
Jo-El Quinlan holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University.
