Carlos Gil Miet

Carlos Gil MIET is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in automation and controls engineering, currently serving as a Senior Controls Engineer at CooperVision since July 2014. Prior roles include Support Controls Engineer and Controls Engineer at CooperVision, where responsibilities encompassed supporting automation-related breakdowns and participating in validation processes within a regulated environment. Prior to CooperVision, Carlos worked as a Project & Electronics Engineer at BASE2, S.L. and NODOSAFER, S.L., where project management and automation programming were key focuses. Earlier career experience includes roles as an I+D Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Technical Assistant, and CAD Teacher. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ETSII Vigo and has further qualifications in KUKA programming and TPM maintenance.
