Linus Abu Ayaba is a seasoned humanitarian professional with extensive experience in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program management across conflict and disaster-affected regions. Currently serving as Project Area Coordinator for COOPI in Nairobi, Kenya, Linus oversees project execution, ensuring adherence to technical and budgetary guidelines. Previous roles include WASH Expert in Sudan, where a community-based approach was emphasized, and WASH Coordinator for the International Medical Corps in Nigeria, providing technical support for national WASH strategies. Linus also held leadership positions in the International Rescue Committee, managing WASH projects in South Sudan and Nigeria, significantly improving access to safe water and sanitation for thousands. Linus’s technical expertise is backed by a B.Eng. in Civil and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria.
