Taylor Atkinson

Taylor Atkinson began their work experience in 2014 as a Sales Assistant at Cooplands Scarborough. They worked as part of a team to achieve targets and provide excellent customer service. They demonstrated adaptability by working in different shops across two regions.

In 2020, Taylor Atkinson joined the University of York as a Vacancy Service Assistant. In this role, they provided administrative support and contributed to enhancing the Careers and Placements' engagement with Campus Brand Ambassadors. They also supported the delivery of central events and developed relationships with employers to offer opportunities to students and graduates.

Later, Taylor Atkinson became an Employer Engagement Development Officer. They led a project to improve the employer offer, planned and delivered the launch of a strategic employer partner approach, and enhanced relationships with various employers. They provided high-level customer service and collaborated with colleagues to ensure successful event management. Their role ended in 2021.

Taylor Atkinson attended Scarborough Sixth Form College from 2016 to 2018, where they completed A-levels in English Language, Geography, and German. They then went on to study at the University of York from 2018 to 2022, earning a BA (Hons) degree in English Language and Linguistics, including a placement year. Currently, Taylor is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Therapy at Leeds Beckett University, which started in 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
