Patrick Bickley

Patrick Bickley has a diverse work experience in the field of intellectual property law. Patrick is currently working as the Senior Director of Global Intellectual Property Operations at CoorsTek, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Corporate Counsel - Intellectual Property at Seagate Technology from 2019 to 2023. Before that, they worked as an Intellectual Property Attorney at OtterBox from 2016 to 2019. Patrick started their career as a Patent Attorney at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP in 2012, where they were an Associate in the Intellectual Property, Patent Prosecution group. Patrick also worked as an Associate at Baker & Daniels and as a Law Clerk at Greer, Burns & Crain, Ltd. in earlier years. Their other experiences include working as a Legal Extern at Seyfarth Shaw, a Law Clerk in the Legal Department at National Railway Equipment Co, and an Intern at Amin Talati, LLC. Patrick also served as an Associate Patent Editor at Global IP Watch.

Patrick Bickley obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo in 2002. Patrick then pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration from The University of Findlay from 2004 to 2006. Subsequently, they attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Intellectual Property Law. Additionally, during the same period, they obtained a Certificate in Intellectual Property from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
