Jessica Weiss

Jessica Weiss has a diverse work experience, starting as an Associate Editor and Author for National Press Books, Home Magazine, and 'ScapeMagazine. Jessica later worked as an Elementary Montessori Directress at the Montessori Society of Central Maryland and Barrie School. Jessica also held the role of Communications Director and Office Manager at Oneness-Family School. Jessica further expanded their career as the Office Manager at the Jewish Primary Day School. In 1999, they founded YOGAMOMS & Wellness-Connections, where they served as the Founder, Director, and Lead Instructor. In 2009, they established growingSOUL as the Founder and Executive Director. Jessica'smost recent role is that of Research and Development Director at Coosemans D.C.

Jessica Weiss has a diverse education history. Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley from 1983 to 1987. Jessica then pursued further education in the field of Education & Curriculum Development, earning a Masters degree from Loyola University Maryland in 1991 to 1992. Additionally, during the same time period, they completed an Association Montessori Internationale program at the Washington Montessori Institute focusing on Elementary Education and Teaching. In 1987 to 1989, Jessica attended FIDM where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Space Planning & Interior Design. Currently, they are enrolled at Hunter College, working towards a Master of Social Work degree in Community Organizing & Clinical Therapy, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2022.
