David Defossey

David DeFossey has extensive work experience in the airline industry, with their most recent position being the Head of Commercial Sales for Copa Airlines in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. David was responsible for guiding, developing, and supervising a sales team of over 30 personnel in each country to achieve the company's economic goals. Prior to this role, David served as the Interim Commercial Regional Manager for the same region at Copa Airlines. Before joining Copa Airlines, they worked at South African Airways as the Director of Sales Development, where they implemented strategies to grow sales from existing and new corporate customers. David also has a background at United Airlines, where they held various roles including Account Manager for South Florida, Corporate Key Account Manager for Latin America, Key Account Manager for NYC, Sales Analyst for the Northeast Region, Airport Operations Supervisor at JFK Customer Service, Account Executive, and Administrative Coordinator for Flight Operations. Additionally, they had a brief stint at FlightSafety International as an Account Manager and at American Eagle Insurance Group as an Aviation Insurance Underwriter. David's career in the airline industry began at American Airlines as a Customer Service Representative at JFK Airport.

David DeFossey attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Aviation Business Administration. David also studied at the University of Miami's School of Communication with a focus on Business. In addition, David holds a Private Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration.
