Silvio Lignarolo has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Silvio is currently the Vice President Strategic Accounts at COPAN Diagnostics, Inc., a role they have held since November 2021. Before that, they served as the Director Strategic Accounts at the same company from January 2020 to November 2021. Prior to their current positions, Lignarolo worked at COPAN Diagnostics, Inc. as a Senior Business Development Manager Corporate Accounts from April 2015 to November 2021.
Before joining COPAN Diagnostics, Inc., they worked at Managers 4 Health as a Sr. Business Development Manager ME & RSA from April 2013 to March 2015. In this role, they collaborated with major diagnostic companies for the launch of a new product line for microbiology laboratories in the GCC area. Silvio was also responsible for identifying, selecting, and managing the local distributor/partner network in each region.
Earlier in their career, Lignarolo worked at Copan Italia S.p.a. as a Business Development Manager Central Europe from February 2008 to March 2013. Silvio was responsible for selecting, organizing, and managing distribution channels in the UK, Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, and France, with a strong focus on automation.
Silvio also served as a Corporate Marketing Consultant at DA SISTEMI SPA (a Verifon Subsidiary) from September 2007 to February 2008, where they managed and implemented new marketing communication campaigns and recommended marketing strategies to achieve corporate and countries objectives.
Additionally, Lignarolo worked as a Marketing Manager at Way Systems Inc. (later acquired by Verifon and Samsung Pay) from May 2006 to August 2007. In this role, they reported directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and conducted market analysis and sizing to optimize product positioning.
Silvio started their career as a Junior Business Development Manager at Color Kinetics from December 2005 to April 2006. At Color Kinetics, they assisted the Business Development Managers with ad-hoc projects such as monthly marketing campaigns.
Silvio Lignarolo has a diverse education history. Silvio started their educational journey in 1999 at the Università degli Studi di Torino, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science after completing their studies in 2004. In 2003, they attended the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, where they earned a Certificate in International Development, with a focus on International Relations and Affairs. Building on this foundation, Silvio went on to pursue a Master's degree in International Marketing at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, which they successfully completed in 2006.
