Cindy Zaldivar

Cindy Zaldivar is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Assistant Controller at the COPD Foundation since September 2018. In this role, Cindy assists the Chief Financial Officer with month-end closing processes, payroll management, grant budget development, and audit preparation. Previously, Cindy worked as a Staff Accountant at Ocariz, Garrastacho, Hevia LLLP, where responsibilities included preparing tax returns and providing bookkeeping services. Earlier experience includes positions as Office Manager at Edgewater Jewelry Group and Accounting Clerk/CSR at Marble of the World, alongside a stint as an Elementary School Teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Cindy holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Florida International University.
