Nicolas Momjian is a Laboratory Researcher at UCLA Physics and Astronomy, focusing on the origins of consciousness through behavioral and neurological analyses of drosophila larvae, utilizing advanced bio-imaging techniques and programming for semi-automated microscope operations. Additionally, as a Health Scholar at COPE Health Scholars, Nicolas engages in direct patient care across various departments at Glendale Adventist Hospital, and as a Veterinary Medicine Intern at Warner Center Pet Clinic, Nicolas learns essential veterinary technician duties. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Intern at Rank & File, contributing to marketing and startup projects, and working as a Busser and Food Runner at Mya Restaurant. Nicolas is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at UCLA, intending to minor in Biomedical Research.

COPE Health Scholars
COPE Health Scholars, a division of COPE Health Solutions, provides an educational opportunity for individuals interested in making a difference in health care, advancing their careers, and building lifelong relationships and learning through the COPE Connect network. COPE Health Scholars began fifteen years ago with one program: the Clinical Care Extender Program, now known as the Health Scholar Program. Over the course of the last fifteen years the program offerings expanded to include the Junior Health Scholar Program for high school students, Licensed Nurse Scholar Program for RN job seekers, Care Coordination Scholar Program for college students and alumni interested in care coordination and International Health Scholar Program for international students interested in the U.S. Healthcare System.
