Sanjay Ram

Sanjay Ram currently serves as the Assistant Director of Departmental Operations at COPE Health Scholars and as a Research Intern at the Institute for Systems Biology, focusing on the role of NLRs in the innate immune system. Additionally, Sanjay co-founded and co-presides over Scorpion Robotics, an organization dedicated to introducing VEX IQ Robotics to elementary and middle school students, while also managing the organization's website. Other relevant experiences include serving as a Health Scholar at Swedish and participating in the Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program. Previously, Sanjay worked as an Assistant Teacher at Bharathi Tamil Academy and completed a research training program at Seattle Children's. Sanjay is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Washington, following a foundational education at Redmond High School and Lake Washington School District's highly capable program.
