Torkil Clemmensen

Torkil Clemmensen is a Professor at the Department of Digitalization and Copenhagen Business School since 2017, with a professional focus on Human-Computer Interaction, Human Work Interaction Design, and digital qualitative analysis. Since 2004, Torkil has been a Professor mso at Copenhagen Business School, previously holding the title of Associate Professor with expertise in usability. Additionally, Torkil served as a member of UX Danmark from 1999 to 2016 and chaired the Human Work Interaction Design group from 2005 to 2013. Prior experience includes roles as a Psychologist and team coordinator at the Municipality of Copenhagen and as a Research Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Denmark. Torkil’s early career involved working as a Usability Consultant and Ph.D. student at Skibteknisk Laboratorium, contributing to the ATOMOS project and developing training systems for maritime operational safety. Torkil Clemmensen earned a PhD in psychology from Københavns Universitet and pursued studies in architecture at the Royal School of Architecture.
