Jacob Fogh

Jacob Fogh has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Jacob started their career in 2002 as an Officer at DFDS. After that, they joined the Danish Maritime Safety Administration as a Chief Officer in 2005. In 2006, they began working at Copenhagen Malmö Port as a Supervisor, eventually progressing to roles such as TP Manager, Operations Manager, and Board Member. From 2010 to 2017, Jacob served as the Terminal Manager, overseeing administrative and reporting activities related to Terminal Operations. Jacob then became the General Manager, Business Development and Projects, responsible for attracting and maintaining customers, developing services, and analyzing business potentials. Finally, in 2020, they became the Sales Director for Copenhagen Malmö Port.

In 1991, Jacob Fogh attended Gl. Hellerup Gymnasium, where they studied mathematical subjects until 1994.

In 1997, they participated in an apprentice program at Kogtved for APM - Maersk Line but did not obtain a specific degree.

From 1997 to 2002, Jacob Fogh studied at SIMAC Svendborg International Maritime Academy, where they earned a Master Mariner degree.

From 2006 to 2009, they pursued an AP Degree Program in International Transportation and Logistics at Niels Brock.

In 2017, Jacob Fogh completed the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course at Teknologisk Institut.

In 2017 as well, they attended CBS Executive Fonden, where they studied Strategy and Value Creation - Economics Management Tools.

In 2018, Jacob Fogh completed a course at CBS Executive Fonden focusing on Strategy and Business Development as a Driver for Innovation.

During 2019, they undertook a certification program in Business Negotiations, becoming a certified negotiator at Gottleben.

Finally, from 2020 to 2023, Jacob Fogh pursued a Master of Business Development (MBD) degree in Business Development at Copenhagen Business School.
