Mercy Muasya

Mercy Muasya has a diverse range of work experience. Mercy started their career as a Peer Counselor at Maseno University in 2018. In 2019, they joined Amnesty International as a Human Rights Education Intern, where they conducted research on human rights violations in Kenyan universities and organized awareness campaigns. Starting in 2019, they also became an Emerging Leaders Mentee at Akili Dada. In 2021, they worked as a Program Intern at Kenya Red Cross Youth. Currently, they are employed as a Field Sales Associate at Copia Global. Overall, Mercy Muasya has gained valuable experience in counseling, human rights education, program management, and sales.

Mercy Muasya completed their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy with IT from Maseno University. Mercy attended Maseno University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their K.C.S.E (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) at Precious Blood Riruta from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Mercy Muasya obtained a certification as a Human Rights campaigner from Amnesty International in August 2019.
