Teddy Mutinda

Teddy Mutinda has been working in the finance industry since 2014. In 2021, they began working as the Tax and Treasury Lead for Copia Global, where they are responsible for managing Company taxes VAT, Withholding Tax, Reverse VAT, Deferred Tax and Corporation Tax, monitoring adherence to tax provisions, and providing effective tax solutions and optimization opportunities for the business. From 2016 to 2021, Teddy worked as the Tax and Treasury Lead, Business Analyst, and Treasury, Tax and Assets Accountant Lead for Unga Group Ltd, where they were responsible for ensuring tax compliance within the business, tax computations, and preparation and processing payments for monthly VAT, WHT and WHVAT Computations in Kenya and Uganda. From 2014 to 2016, Teddy worked as the Plant Accountant and Payable Accountant for Unga Farmcare EA Ltd, where they were responsible for timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, requests, check runs and bank transfers, master data integrity control in SAP and vendor creation, and management of company petty cash.

Teddy Mutinda's education history includes a Certified Credit Professional (CCP) from KASNEB from 2015 to 2017, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Finance, General from Kabarak University from 2012 to 2014, a KASNEB certification from 2010 to 2011, and a KCSE from Menengai High School from 2005.
