What you will do: The Senior Manager will work as an individual contributor alongside the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) team members. Specific duties will include:

- Oversight and management of all things related to design, procurement, construction, and energization of Copia’s High Voltage facilities: a. Lead design and execution of all high voltage facilities for Copia’s PV and PV+BESS projects. b. Provide technical support on HV equipment procurement RFP’s and review technical contract documents. c. Support development engineering with HV design guidance and ROM pricing d. Manage High Voltage EPC contractor procurement and contract negotiations as HV subject matter expert e. Initiating and maintaining relationships with suppliers of existing and emerging technologies f. Maintain close contact across the procurement landscape to anticipate and mitigate changes in supply and logistics -Managing high voltage design consultants to support long-lead HV equipment procurement such as HV breakers, insulators -Support procurement of GSUs and other long-lead high voltage equipment. -Acting as high voltage Owner’s Engineer in reviewing design plans, studies, and specifications. -Supporting the Power Marketing teams with RFP responses and other outreach. -Collaborating with Development team on strategy to share HV facilities and build project complexes. -Supporting construction execution and energization of project high voltage facilities. -Clearly and concisely communicate plans with senior leadership using Power Point   What we look for: - Exceptional organizational, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, analytical and time management skills

  • 8 years' experience in high voltage substation and T-line development, design and construction
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in engineering
  • Professional Engineering license preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Ability to work in the SLC office 2 to 3 days a week   
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
