Niels Footman

Niels Footman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Niels has worked at Copylab Ltd since 2014, starting as an Investment Writer and eventually becoming the Team Lead/Head of Marketing in 2015. In this role, they managed a team of 7 and handled client relationships, as well as overseeing the production of fund commentaries.

In 2018, Niels became the Managing Director, UK and Europe at Copylab Ltd. Niels worked with major clients in the financial sector and was responsible for leading and managing operations in the region.

Prior to their role at Copylab Ltd, Niels co-founded Humm Ltd (formerly Living Indie) in 2014. Niels played a key role in devising and executing marketing programs, raising crowdfunding money, and managing social media accounts.

Earlier in their career, Niels worked as a Strategic Counsel at LG-One/Hill and Knowlton, managing the Home Entertainment account and providing media consultancy. Niels also served as a Commissioning Editor for Hachette Livre, where they oversaw the Korean Air inflight magazine, Morning Calm.

Niels has a background in education and has worked as an English Teacher at YBM Sisa. Niels also pursued a Full-time MBA program at Cranfield University School of Management.

In 2019, Niels joined Vistage UK as a member, expanding their professional network and gaining further insights in leadership and business growth.

Throughout their career, Niels has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of the financial sector, and expertise in content creation and marketing.

Niels Footman pursued their education at various institutions. Niels obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cranfield School of Management in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Korean studies at Yonsei University from 2002 to 2005. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian studies from The University of Sheffield, spanning from 1998 to 2001.
