Michael Farrar

Michael Farrar has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Michael started their career at EDS as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built rating systems for the wireless industry. Michael then moved on to Lightbridge, Inc, where they served as the Director of Engineering, managing architecture and applications engineering groups. Michael also managed an outsourced team in India. Following this role, they joined Airpath Wireless as the Vice President of Technology, overseeing the software engineering group and running 24x7 operations for their OSS back-end billing system. Currently, they are at Copyright Clearance Center as the Vice President of Engineering, where they have built an offshore team in Eastern Europe. Michael is responsible for managing multiple teams with a hybrid model and a total of 30 employees, including managers, technical leads, engineers, DBAs, and back-office personnel.

Michael Farrar completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley University from 1983 to 1987. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University from 1988 to 1992.
