Stephen Howe

Stephen Howe has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Stephen has worked at Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) since 2016, starting as a Product Manager and later progressing to roles such as Sr. Product Manager, Platform Data, and Sr. Product Manager, Analytics. At CCC, they have been responsible for overseeing the development of data and analytics products and managing data pipelines.

Prior to joining CCC, Stephen worked at McGraw-Hill Education where they held positions such as Sr. Director, Technical Product Management - Analytics and Director, Technical Product Management - Analytics. In these roles, they focused on building data visualizations and analytics infrastructure to improve student outcomes.

Before their tenure at McGraw-Hill Education, Stephen worked at The McGraw-Hill Companies and Macmillan/McGraw-Hill in production and digital product development roles.

Early in their career, Stephen held the position of Manager, Special Sales & Subsidiary Rights at McGraw-Hill Professional and worked as a Catalog Sales Associate at Van Nostrand Reinhold.

Stephen Howe obtained a Master's degree in Data Analytics from Northeastern University from 2017 to 2019. Stephen also holds an MBA in Management from Adelphi University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, Stephen has a BA in Philosophy from Bates College and an MA in Philosophy from Binghamton University, but the specific duration of their education at these institutions is unknown. In terms of certifications, they have obtained various certifications from Lynda.com, such as Learning Python and Decision-Making Strategies, as well as certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., Pragmatic Marketing, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Stephen is also currently working towards obtaining the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Stephen is a certified SAFe 4 Certified Agilist and SAFe 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager since 2017 and also holds the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute.
