Lucy Stankova

Lucy Stankova began their work experience in 2004 at Serco Monitoring, where they held various roles including Day Team Monitoring Centre Controller and Monitoring Centre Co-ordinator until 2012. Lucy then joined Modality Systems as a Software QA Engineer, where they tested bespoke solutions for customers using Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Software QA Team Lead at Modality Systems, leading QA efforts and overseeing quality assurance processes for on-prem and SaaS solutions using the Microsoft Stack and Microsoft Azure. Currently, Lucy works as a Senior QA Engineer at Cora Systems since 2023.

Lucy Stankova has a diverse education history. Lucy obtained their Master's Degree in Economics and Management from the University of Economics - Varna, Bulgaria, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management at the same institution from 1996 to 2002.

Before their university education, Lucy attended High School in Mathematics in Varna, Bulgaria, from 1991 to 1996. Lucy received a Diploma of Secondary Education, with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, English Language, and Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Lucy Stankova has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they achieved the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Lucy also holds the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level Extension - Agile Tester certification, which they obtained in November 2022.

Lucy Stankova has expanded their skillset further by completing the Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Management in August 2012, offered by the Alliance Sector Skills Councils. Lucy has also attained the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Management (QCF) and the Edexcel Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management (QCF) from PDM Training and Consultancy Ltd in February and December 2012, respectively.
