Adriana Verdeja

Adriana Verdeja is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in government and community relations, currently serving as the Executive Director of Government and Community Relations at the University of Miami since February 2008. In previous roles at the University, Verdeja has also held positions such as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President and Senior Director of Development, successfully exceeding fundraising goals for initiatives including the Lowe Art Museum and the School of Architecture. Prior to joining the University of Miami, Verdeja worked at Bloomingdales/Federated as the Executive Director of the Registry and Home Division, and at Neiman Marcus Group as the Registry Operations Manager. Verdeja began a career in international business development at Next Model Management. Education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Barry University and ongoing studies toward a Master's in Liberal Studies from the University of Miami.
