The Ocean unites us and our passion is to protect it. Coral Gardeners started in 2017 as a group of young surfers and fishermen coming together to save their home reef. We’re now made up of an international collective of scientists, engineers, creators, and advocates determined to save the reef by revolutionizing ocean conservation and generating collaborative action around the world. THE JOB
Coral Gardeners is seeking an experienced project manager to support our Chief Operating Officer with the development and implementation of strategic and high-priority projects. This includes conducting market analyses, structuring complex information, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, making work plans, and ensuring timely project implementation. You will work across all of our departments from field operations, to technology, communications, and fundraising. The ideal candidate is action oriented and delivers quality results in a timely manner by facilitating collaboration among stakeholders and structuring complex projects with many moving parts into a clear sequence of actionable steps. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to work independently, while making sound judgements based on data. Experience working in management consulting is a plus.
Your responsibilities will include:
Articulate and present complex ideas clearly in writing and verbally to support decision making
Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders by understanding their needs, managing expectations, and finding common ground
Communicate openly, clearly and frequently with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely project execution
