Harel Ben-Attia

Harel Ben-Attia has over 17 years of work experience in software engineering and big data consulting. Harel started their career in 2003 as a Software Developer and Performance Analyst at Comverse. In 2006, they became a Software Engineer at b-hive Networks and in 2008, b-hive Networks was bought by VMware and they became a Senior Software Engineer. At Outbrain, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Data Infrastructure Team Leader from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Software Engineering and Big Data Consultant for Viz.ai, Houseparty (Life on Air.) and Colabo Inc. In 2017, they joined AppsFlyer as a Senior Architect and Head of Data Platform. Currently, they are the Chief Architect at Coralogix.

Harel Ben-Attia received a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Software Engineering from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design between 2001 and 2005. Harel also holds four additional certifications from Coursera and edX, including Functional Program Design in Scala (obtained November 2016), edX Verified Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning (obtained July 2015), Principles of Reactive Programming (obtained May 2015), and Functional Programming Principles in Scala (obtained June 2014).
