Ryan Tan has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles and responsibilities. Ryan is currently serving as a Customer DevOps Engineer at Coralogix since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Boxed as a DevOps Engineer III from April 2022 to June 2023, where they designed and implemented cloud infrastructure using GCP, Terraform, and Pulumi. Ryan also developed and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and managed Kubernetes clusters hosted on GCP.
Ryan also worked at Sliqpay as a DevOps & Senior Developer from December 2019 to November 2022. In this role, they managed cloud infrastructure and maintained a multi-tenant platform with Kubernetes & Kustomize. Ryan created CI/CD pipelines in Azure Pipelines and implemented network isolation and reverse proxy DNS routing using Azure's API Manager, VNets, Traefik, and PrivateDNS.
Before that, Ryan worked at Citi as a Senior Mobile Developer from January 2018 to December 2019, where they developed modules in Core Mobile and led the creation of wealth modules in Global Wallet. Ryan also integrated, fixed, and troubleshooted hybrid Angular pages.
Ryan's earlier experiences include working at Crowdo as a Software Engineer from September 2016 to January 2018. Ryan created a mobile app for "Crowdo Connect" and developed modules in RoR for the main Crowdo Connect P2P site. Ryan also ensured company regulatory compliance according to MAS TRM.
Ryan'searliest role was as a Solution Specialist at Fuji Xerox Singapore from November 2014 to March 2016.
Ryan Tan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at UNSW from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic between 2006 and 2009. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has also acquired several certifications, including Exploratory Data Analysis and R Programming from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015, as well as the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in July 2022.
