Lovese Purifoy, MSM, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has extensive work experience in the Human Resources field. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Director of HR Services and an HR Account Manager for Corban OneSource. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Director of Diversity and Technology Chair for SHRMA, and also developed and administered curriculum for individuals seeking their PHR/SPHR Certification in a 14-week classroom setting twice per year. In 2011, they were the Executive Vice President/COO and Treasurer (Interim) for NAAAHR Tampa Bay. In 2008, they were the Director (BOD) for Guardian Association of Pinellas County and the VP of Programs for NAAAHR - Tampa Bay Chapter. In 2008, they were a Human Resource Generalist (CONTRACT) for Suncoast Center for Community Mental Health. From 2000 to 2006, they were an Equal Employment Opportunity Consultant for Gevity/Danka Office Imaging. From 1996 to 1997, they were a Visitation Supervisor for Community Action Stops Abuse (PART-TIME) and a Human Resource Generalist for Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services.

Lovese Purifoy has a diverse educational background. In 2015, they earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University. Prior to that, they obtained a MSM in Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness from Troy University in 2008, and a BA in Personnel & Global HR from Eckerd College in 2005.
