Liuchun Yang

Liuchun Yang is a seasoned professional in intellectual property, currently serving as Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Corcept Therapeutics since August 2024. Prior to this role, Liuchun served as Senior Patent Counsel and Patent Counsel at Gilead Sciences from January 2018 to August 2024. Experience also includes working as a Patent Attorney at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) from February 2017 to January 2018 and as a Patent Attorney at Northwestern University from August 2014 to February 2017. Early career experience includes a position as a Patent Agent/Attorney at Brinks Gilson and Lione from April 2008 to August 2014. Liuchun holds a JD from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a PhD in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
