Kimberly Bastian is a Program Manager for Stem Cell Release at Cord Blood Registry, a position held since April 2018. Prior to this role, Kimberly accumulated extensive experience at Banner - University Medical Center from 2006 to April 2018, serving as a Certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (CMLT II) in various capacities, including HLA Lab, Flow Cytometry Lab, and Transfusion Medicine. Responsibilities included serologic tissue typing, cross matching, antibody detection, and performing diagnostic tests for solid organ and blood/marrow transplant programs. Kimberly also worked in virology and microbiology labs, performing culture setups and rapid testing. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Applied Science in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician from Pima Community College, obtained between 2000 and 2008.
