Emily May, MPH, CHES® is a highly experienced professional with a background in public health and community project management. Emily has worked in the public health sector since 2013, starting as an Undergraduate Researcher at The Ohio State University Cognitive Development Laboratory. In 2016, they held Practicum Student and Graduate Health Educator roles at Licking County Health Department and Columbus Public Health, respectively. In 2017, they joined Hamilton County, Ohio as Program Coordinator for the Heroin Coalition, where they managed the County-Wide Quick Response Team Program and wrote and executed the contract with University of Cincinnati for process and outcome evaluations. In 2019, they became a Project Consultant at BrightView. Most recently, in 2020, they were hired as a Community Project Manager at Cordata Healthcare Innovations, LLC.
Emily May, MPH, CHES® received their Master's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from The Ohio State University in 2017. Emily obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2015. Emily also attended Ursuline Academy-Cincinnati from 2007 to 2011. In April 2017, they were certified as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
