Johanna Calderon

Johanna Calderon has over 19 years of work experience in the field of software quality engineering. Johanna began their career in 2001 at Transporte T S.A. as a Technical Team Lead and End User Computing, where they designed, developed, implemented, and managed the application software "Transportation Manager". In 2006, they moved to Cyber J Digital as Manager and Technical Lead, where they designed, developed, implemented, and managed the application software "Cyber J Digital POS (point of sales)". In 2008, they joined S.T. Calderón S.R.L. as Technical Team Lead and End User Computing, where they implemented and managed the application software "Transportation Manager". In 2014, they moved to Intuit as a Software Engineer in Quality, where they wrote automated test scripts against multiple large projects and conducted multiple types of testing. In 2016, they joined Newtech, S.R.L. as Quality Assurance Project Manager II, where they initiated the Automation testing Framework project and provided demos, training, and coaching to existing and new team members. Johanna is currently employed at Cordial Inc. as a Senior Software Quality Engineer.

Johanna Calderon has a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, obtained between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Systems Engineering and Computing from Universidad APEC between 1999 and 2003. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Oracle Certificated Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in November 2017; Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in February 2016; ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) from ICAgile in October 2015; Adobe Photoshop CS4 from Las Américas Institute of Technology (ITLA) in 2009; and Hardware Technician from Universal Technology Center (CENTU) in 2004.
